How To Glow Up In 7 Days? 7 Day Glow Up Challenge

It’s that time of the year. You want to become the best version of yourself and cannot afford to waste more time.
If you are adamant enough, it’s time for you to take the 7-day glow-up challenge. At first, you do the 7-day challenge and then shift to the 21-day challenge.

Trust me, if you are dedicated enough, a lot can happen in these 7 days. Use these 7 days with utmost dedication and you’ll ready for the 21-days glow up.

Day 1: Get Good Sleep

Funny enough, getting a good night’s sleep is one of the most critical factors in your glow-up journey. Without a good night’s sleep, you won’t be able to function correctly. You’ll feel lethargy no matter how many energy pills you pop.

Joseph Murphy, the author of the famous book The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, has written about the importance of sleep.

Your brain will sacrifice everything on its way to complete its sleep quota. Hence, if you think you can work an extra hour by sleeping less, that would only lead to an inefficient day.

Day 2: Start A Morning Routine

Now that you have slept better, it’s time to create a morning routine you’ll follow throughout the day.

It’s not that you cannot complete your day without completing your tasks, but having a morning routine makes your life easier.

You won’t have to overthink about what to do next. Everything is pre-planned, and your only work is to follow it. We might not be aware of it, but we waste too much time planning and fail to execute it.

Having a daily morning routine can really make a difference. A Morning Routine makes you more productive and helps you complete your daily goals.

And the huge sense of satisfaction you feel after you’ve completed your day’s task subconsciously encourages you to be more dedicated.

Day 3: Eat Healthy & Workout

Please be true to yourself: How much sugar do you consume daily? Unfortunately, most of us aren’t aware of it.

Eating healthy is essential since you’re on a 7-day mission to change your personality. Honestly, sugar is the root of all unhealthy foods. The other one is palm oil. But, if you only decrease sugar consumption, you’ll immediately feel a difference in your overall energy levels.

Just go through a day without consuming sugar or sugar products, and you’ll feel more energetic. Consume more fruits and green vegetables that are rich in vitamins and fibre. The time and quantity of your food also matter a lot.

Try not to eat full stomach. Leave some space for air to regulate. That’ll help in digestion.

Day 4: Meditate

You are almost halfway through the 7-day glow-up challenge. If you diligently followed the 3 steps, you’re already better than most people. Congrats on that! Now, let’s get a little spiritual. You have worked hard to stay physically fit and decrease sugar consumption. How about you also train your mind?

Without a healthy mind, all this hard work will go in vain. That’s where meditation comes in. Meditating only a few minutes a day can miraculously affect your mind. Meditation eliminates unnecessary thoughts from your mind and helps you think clearly.

You can achieve even the most complex things with a healthy physical body, an awakened mind, and good sleep.

Day 5: Journal

On the 5th day, you should start writing a private journal. Keep the journal secret from everyone. Why? Because this journal will contain all the information about you.

Write your heart’s content. Don’t worry whether you’re making any sense or making any English errors. The motive of writing a journal is far higher than showing off your English writing skills.

Journaling is one of the best ways to release blocked emotions and feelings. These blocked emotions and feelings can cause havoc if you don’t address them.

Please keep these few things in mind while writing a journal:

(1) Don’t just write about the adverse events of your life
(2) Express as much as you can

Day 6: Focus On Skincare

You are almost there. It’s the 6th day, and you’re on a roll. Now, you can go slow and focus on the subtler side of yourself.

Focus on skincare. As I said, you are better than most people who don’t follow any routine and challenge themselves. You have begun walking towards being That Girl.

If you regularly take care of your skin, good. But if you don’t, this is an excellent time to start doing it. You cannot complete a glow-up challenge without following a skincare routine.

Okay, if you’re allergic to cosmetics and don’t want to take risks, the best you can do is drink more water. I don’t have to tell you the importance of water in our bodies. So is the importance of water for your skin health.

Day 7: Take Rest

Day 7 is here! How do you feel? If you feel optimistic and are pumped up for more, you can push yourself for the 21-day glow-up challenge. If not, you shouldn’t get discouraged. It’s okay to be a little slow, but please don’t stop. Keep moving forward.

On the 7th day, you don’t do much; you take a rest. This might surprise you, but these 7 days were a purging process in your life. You tried to follow a routine that have might have never followed before. Suddenly challenging your mind and body can have adverse affects if you don’t cool down a bit.

Just so that you don’t get burnt-out. Of course, you’re most welcome if you want to make it a permanent habit. Read books, meet with friends, enjoy watching a movie.

Sharing is Gratitude...
