7 Productive Habits That Made Me $1000 In Few Weeks

Proud of You!!

Surprised? Shocked?

You shouldn’t be. You shouldn’t be surprised or even shocked when you try to bring your life back on track.

How to be Productive” is one question that most don’t ask themselves. They “think” they are already productive while their social media stats sing a different story.

I’m proud of you because you’ve made a crucial decision and accepted that you NEED to BE MORE in order to DO MORE.

Here are the 7 Productive Habits That Made Me $1K In Few Weeks!

(1) Stay Away From Instant Gratification

The reason why there’s a rising trend of people searching about how to be productive is because of the Instant Gratification devil!

Yeah, I call it a devil because it’s THAT powerful.

One habit I’ve drilled into myself is to not run after Instant Gratification.

Here’s a little story of how an instant gratification habit which I thought was important destroyed my work habit and almost brought my business to a complete stand-still.

It was the habit of looking at Google Analytics and enjoy the numbers.

I thought I was working, but the dopamine hit my logical brain got when I saw those little success on Google Analytics swayed me away.

I used to rejoice and enjoy when I saw growth on my blog, and got frustrated when something negative happened (less visits, less impressions).

I had to forcefully bring myself out of the Instant Gratification swamp because I was in deep trouble.

And as I got rid of it, my blog started to perform great again…

(2) Keep Distractions At Bay

Your phone might be your best buddy. But this pesky little thing is manipulative!

All the issue we nowadays face with productivity is mostly because of our phones. And the annoying thing is that it’s hard to get rid of it.

I’ll tell you how I got rid of this phone issue.

Initially I kept my phone on flight mode which is great if don’t use your phone for security verification, but if you do, flight mode is going to cause issue. Because the moment you switch off flight mode all the notifications will come down like hell.

So, the best option is to either keep your phone out of your sight, somewhere you cannot access it, or just switch ON “Do Not Disturb” mode.

I still use Do Not Disturb while I’m working, and I love this feature.

Try it! You’ll love it too.

And if people are the distractions, then you need to explain to them and hope they understand.

(3) Be Accountable To Someone

You can try this with you friend, partner, mother or anyone you wish.

Being accountable to someone is far better than keeping a productivity tracker for yourself.

School has trained us in this regard. From the beginning of our childhood, we were held accountable for our actions and the results followed.

Our subconscious has accepted this and acts quick when we are held accountable for something.

I’m telling this right now, being accountable to someone is one of the best habits you can have to progress at anything.

I asked my mother to be my accountable partner and she did a great job. Every few days she used to ask questions about how I was doing at work.

The questions came out of nowhere so I was never ready to face it. This uncertainty made me jittery when I wasn’t doing my job correctly. And I loved to learn from mistakes.

(4) Take Action Immediately

I can finish this section with just one sentence.

DO IT RIGHT NOW!!

Your thought is like air, it only stays at one place for few seconds if not milliseconds.

And unfortunately, thoughts are of no use if you don’t implement it.

As most successful entrepreneurs preach: You’ll never be perfect, JUST START!

You Mind will throw a million questions at you when you try to take action immediately.

Yes, things may not work in the beginning, but if you stay persistent, things will adjust itself over time and you’ll have what you envisioned.

I did it too and do it with most tasks in my life.

Honestly, I try to take action immediately with everything, but I’m just too lazy.

DO IT RIGHT NOW!!

Take action immediately when an idea is fresh.

That way you’ll be more effective and anything you do will come out more refined.

But let me remind you one thing. It’s not easy to do it regularly. With everything.

People will call you obsessive.

When this happens, think that you’re walking on the right path.

(5) Practice Law Of Attraction

Visualizing the end with a positive mindset is a nice practice.

Successful businessmen of the past and present practice this heavily and take important decisions.

If it works for them, why won’t it work for you?

In fact, this website is heavily based on my personal Law of Attraction experiences and how it can help you too.

But you must keep in mind this one thing before applying Law of Attraction in your daily life.

Get rid of any dominant negative thoughts, because if you don’t, that’s what you’re going to manifest.

I visualized myself receiving the $1000 almost every moment of my waking life.

Soon enough, my subconscious accepted the fact and began providing me with various ideas and inspirations.

I took immediate action and earned the $1000 in weeks that many people earn in months.

(6) Sit Your A*s And Complete What You Started

Pardon me if I sound rough. Because I’m!

I’m not ordering you to Site Your A*s!

This is you ordering your Mind to do.

Your monkey mind will try to wonder into different thoughts. It’ll try hard to convince you to watch the latest MrBeast video, watch the latest GTA VI leak, or if it has nothing else, it’ll just try to convince you to have a “cookie break.”

You must only leave your sit when it’s really important! Of course, you shouldn’t keep yourself empty stomach.

Your aim is not to torture yourself but to be productive.

But, you know what, time to time your Mind and body will crave a break to cool down.

(7) Take A Break

I can’t explain how important it is to take a break!

Yes, you need to sit your a*s and complete what you started, but working without a break can cause serious issues in the long run.

In fact, most “burn-outs” happen because of this single reason.

Your synapse hates doing the same stuff again and again. It craves a cool down.

Your mind works far better after a short break.

That’s where the ultrafamous Pomodoro Technique comes in.

Pomodoro Technique is simple technique where you take break from your work or whatever you’re doing after an interval of 25 minutes. And after a short cooldown of 3-5 minutes or so you start again.

I’ve used and still use the Pomodoro Technique while working. The only difference is that I take break after 1 hour. Or sometimes more than that.

I use Pomofocus for most of my Pomodoro sessions. It’s a simple website so you can check it out.

Feel Encouraged Now?

Among all the 7 productive habits, if you ask me, I feel the most important among all is “Keep Distractions At Bay“.

You might have felt this while doing any work, whether simple or a complex one.

It’s Distractions that break your focus and make a simple task more complex and time-consuming.

I have read an astonishing number of book on how to be distraction-free, and honestly the only way you can be free from it is when you keep it at bay and embrace focus.

The compulsive urge to check DMs or react to a notification tone is a habit that we all have accepted without thinking twice about the consequences.

It’s my Pomodoro break now. Until then….BE PRODUCTIVE!!

Sharing is Gratitude...
